Michael F. Vardaros is the founder and owner of the Hotel Management & Consulting Company-TheHotelWay. Taking advantage of the vast experience in the Hotel Industry, The HotelWay also serves as Reservations Operators on behalf of Hotels, reducing the Operational Costyet with a highly professional approach.

A Swiss IHTTI Hotel Management College Diploma graduate with Honours, Michael also holds a Post Educational Certificate in Hospitality Management by the National Kapodistrian University of Athens.

From early 2011 until late 2019 he served as the General Manager at Kapari Natural Resort (Santorini, Greece), a deluxe 5* Hotel awarded a series of titles and acknowledgements worldwide, such as the Travellers Choice Awards by Tripadvisor.com for numerous years, as well as a proud member of National Geographic’s Unique Lodges of the World.

With over 22 years of experience in Luxury Hospitality, Michael has collaborated with top Hotel Brands such as the Doubletree by Hilton Resort as General Manager in Kos island, Greece, and the Hyatt Regency in Jeddah, kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as a Sales Executive.

Michael also collaborates as a Hotel Consultant or Management Contractor with other properties in Santorini Island, while he served as Guest Lecturer i/c of the Room Division for the Swiss Alpine Center/City Unity College.

Visitor and exhibitor in International Tourism Trade Shows such as ILTM in Cannes France, as well as featured spokesman in Training and Leadership seminars for Hotel professionals and Executives, Michael specializes in the turnaround of under-performing operations, the establishment of Policies and Recruit, and the adherence of hotel personnel to the highest professional standards.

His long-term passion for the Hotel Industry is best described by his favourite motto: “only the Best is good enough.”
